What to do if the flash fur ball is deflated?

Glitter pom poms have become a very popular toy among children and even adults due to their charm and entertainment factor. These cuddly plush toys are shaped like little furry animals and often come with an attractive built-in LED light feature that lights up when squeezed or shaken. However, just like any other inflatable toy, the pom pom loses shape and shrinks over time. In this blog post, we'll explore some simple yet effective ways to revive a deflated glitter pom-pom and restore its magic.

Step 1: Identify deflation:

The first step is to double check your glitter pom pom to see if it is indeed deflated.  Look for signs such as loss of firmness, sagging of the body, or disappearance of the LED light.  Once deflation is confirmed, proceed to step 2.

Step 2: Locate the Air Valve:

Glitter pom poms usually have an air valve at the bottom or hidden under the pouch.  Locate the valve and uncover it if necessary.  You may need to use a small tool like a paper clip or pin to operate the valve.

Step 3: Inflate with the pump:

If you have a pump designed for inflatable devices, attach the appropriate nozzle to the pump and carefully insert it into the hairball's air valve.  Gently pump air into the ball until desired firmness is achieved.  Be careful not to over-inflate as this may cause a burst.  If you do not have a pump, continue to step 4.

Step 4: Using the Straw:

If you don't have a pump, get a straw and make it thin enough to fit the air valve.  Insert it gradually and gently blow air into the glitter pom.  Once inflated to the desired level, squeeze the valve for a quick seal.

Step 5: Securely Seal the Valve:

To ensure the glitter pom pom stays inflated, use a small zip tie or twist tie to secure the valve tightly.  Alternatively, you can wrap a small piece of tape around the valve to seal it.  Make sure there are no air leaks.

Step 6: Test the LED Lights:

After the Glitter Pom is successfully inflated, carefully squeeze or shake it to check that the LED light is working properly.  If the light doesn't come on, try replacing the battery, which is usually located in a small compartment near the air valve.

A deflated glitter pom doesn't necessarily mean its magic is over. With a proper understanding of the steps involved, you can easily cheer up and bring your favorite furry friend back to life. Remember to proceed carefully, use the correct tools, and avoid overinflating. While deflation may be inevitable over time, the bond between you and the glitter pom can now be restored, ensuring hours of fun play.
